I'm Ivan, a BACP-registered counsellor based in Winchester. For over 20 years, I've worked in mental health and education settings — and now as a counsellor, I offer a calm, confidential space for people from all walks of life. Whatever your circumstances are, you're invited to untangle thoughts and move forward at your own pace. You don't need a diagnosis or a set reason to come; just a sense that you'd like some support.

I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, feeling lost in a relationship, struggling to manage your anger, or just carrying a sense that something isn't right—our work together will be shaped around your story.
My style is warm and collaborative, drawing on evidence-based approaches like Transactional Analysis to help us understand the patterns that might be holding you back.
In our sessions, you won't find generic advice. Instead, we'll gently explore what's beneath the surface—the fears, the unresolved experiences—so you can build a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling.

Current Openings
I currently have availability for Monday and Tuesday mornings as well as some evenings in the week. If those don't suit you, let me know - I may be able to adjust.
Face to face appointments take place in my home office in Sparsholt, Winchester, Hampshire. There is parking available directly outside the property.
Counselling Fees
Individual counselling session (50 minutes): £60
Concessions are available for students and individuals on low income.
Payment is due in advance or on the day of your session.
Cancellation Policy
I understand that life happens. If you need to cancel, please let me know at least 24 hours before your scheduled time.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged the full session fee. This allows me to offer the time to someone else who might need it.
